Cricket

Cricket

Cricket at the Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club dates back to 1827 and we continue a long tradition of distinction in the sport. We have one of the finest turf pitches in North America.

From May to September, our cricket players, from beginner to Canadian National team level, have the opportunity to participate in our outdoor cricket programs. We enter teams in the Toronto & District Cricket Association’s (T&DCA) top leagues. We also offer a "Stragglers" program for those who enjoy playing a competitive match against visiting and touring sides, an Intraclub T20 League and an Associates League designed for beginners or those looking for a more social game. Indoor off-season programs are also offered. Cricket is one of our founding sports and remains a dynamic and challenging program at the Cricket Club.

The Toronto Cricket Academy

Targeted at players aged 10 to 16, our Toronto Cricket Academy (TCA) is committed to providing top-level training for young Cricket players to strengthen the future of cricket in Canada. Our TCA programs are developed and led by our Head Cricket Professional Prashant Manjrekar, ICC Level 3 Cricket Coach.

Programs are available throughout the year. Fall and Winter programs are conducted offsite on weekends at leading Indoor Cricket facilities, while the summer programs are conducted at our world-class facilities at the Club, including access to turf wickets. From May to September. practices and skill development sessions are held on Wednesday evenings, whilst our TCA teams participate in the Toronto & District Cricket Association (T&DCA) youth leagues on weekends. TCA also provides a direct and clear pathway to senior cricket teams and programs at the Club.

The TCA is open to members of the Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club and special cricket memberships are available. For more information about membership at the Cricket Club please contact Tricia Stevens at [email protected].
